  Helleborus x 'Penny's Pink' For sale at our Hellebore Festival Only until Spring. When our friend John Massey of Ashwood Nurseries in the UK told us about this plant and said that it was one of the most exciting new hellebores he had seen in years, well, we got excited. John knows hellebores! Bred at RD Plants by Rodney Davey and Lynda Windsor. The plants here are really lovely and we are as excited as John about them. Lynda told us that "Penny" named after Penelope Hobhouse, is sterile, long blooming and the flowers as well as the heavily marked new foliage is great in bouquets. (As with all hellebores, stems cut when the majority of the flowers are open last longest.) Unfortunately, we can not ship any of these plants until late April.
