Rose is the common name for the group of plants formerly called H. orientalis or H. orientalis hybrids. They offer
flowers in a wide range of colours, and foliage forms. Plants by colour have bloomed
& been marked, so if we sell you a white flowering plant we can
guarantee the flowers will be
white. H. xhybridus foliage We have been working on our Pine Knot strain of hellebores since the early 1980's, with serious breeding efforts beginning in the early 1990's. We have traveled to the UK and Europe every year for the past ten years bringing back the new plants. We also trade seeds with breeders all over the world, so we feel our stock plants represent the best plants anywhere. We select stodk for colour, of course, but also for vigour, for producing numerous, outward facing flowers and for unusual and attractive foliage. |
