  Helleborus x 'Walburton's Rosemary' (Walhero) aka 'Rosemary' When we first saw this in the UK a fin 2009 we were really excited about the possibility of having a pink flowering companion to 'Snow White'. Like "SW", 'Rosemary is a hybrid between H. niger and H. x hybridus. This cross is very difficult to do (I've not managed it YET!) and the offspring are valuable garden plants. This cross was made by David Tristram, the breeder of the beloved 'Ivory Prince.' Like 'Snow White', ' Walburton's Rosemary' is sterile, producing no seeds, but like her Japanese sister she certainly is not shy about flowering! 'Snow White is in flower before Christmas here and continues producing new blooms into late Spring. Unlike the ericsmithii crosses which open white and age pink, 'Rosemary' opens pink and matures to a deeper shade. Zones 4/5/9 See About Hellebores for complete Zone
